The Islanders defeated  Cole Harbour  2 - 1 at the Gatineau Kiwanis International Tournament Wednesday Night.  Jordan Cox opened the scoring for Cole Harbour at 6:46 of the first period on the powerplay assisted by Brendan Duke. The Islanders outshot Cole Harbour 10 - 9 in the period. Islanders forward Craig Dougan tied the game at 1 - 1 at 6:59 of the second period on the powerplay assisted by Harrison Wood.  Dougan then scored the eventual winner at 12:21 of the second just as an Islanders penalty expired.  Dougan carried the puck into the Cole Harbour zone and cut into the middle firing a blistering wrist shot over goaltender Spencer Scott's catching glove.  The Islanders scored on 2 of their 5 shots in the period while Islanders goaltender Ryan Deagle stopped all 12 shots he faced.  The third period was a seesaw battle back and forth with the Islanders outshooting Cole Harbour 7 - 6. The Islanders killed off two penalties in the third to secure the victory.  Cole Harbour outshot the Islanders 27 - 22 overall.
