The Islanders lose their 4th consecutive NB/PEI League Game falling 2 - 0 to the Cornwall Thunder Thursday Night at the MacLauchlan Arena. The Thunder opened the scoring at the 16 second mark of the first period on the first shot of the game when the Islanders forward on the wall failed to get the puck out at the blueline and Thunder defenseman Isaac MacDonald shot the puck toward the net where Brandon Carter deflected the point shot high over goalie Stephen Miller's right shoulder for the only goal of the first period. Each team had 5 shots in the period. Devan Gunn completed the scoring at 10:42 of the second period jumping on a rebound and beating Miller low to the blocker side assisted by Carter and Devan Parsons. The Thunder outshot the Islanders 12 - 8 in the second period. The game went back and forth in the third with Thunder goalie making 10 saves and Miller stopping 7 in the period. The Thunder outshot the Islanders 24 - 23 in the game.
