The Islanders bounced back from a 9 - 4 loss to the Miramichi Rivermen at the LBA Saturday Night with a 6 - 3 win over the St. John Vitos.
The Rivermen were led by Justin Hache 2+2, Philippe Arseneau 2+2, Tyrone Sock 1+2, Brett Malone 1+2, Rankyn Campbell 1+0, Alexander Scully 1+2, Trey Lewis 1+1, Cale MacDonald 0+3 and Nick Kyle 0+1. Islanders scorers were Craig MacLauchlan 1+1, Craig Dougan 1+0, Brandon Gaudet 1+0, Jordan McInnis 1+0, Harrison Wood 0+2, Brandon Weir 0+1 and Brad MacKenzie 0+1.
Cody Coffin led the Islanders on Sunday against the Vitos with a hat trick, Brandon Weir 2+0, Jordan McInnis 1+0, Jeremy Balderston, Alex Gallant and Ross Johnston 0+2,while Cleve McNeill, Ryan Kelly, Brad MacKenzie, Brandon Gaudet and Craig Dougan contributed 0+1.
The Vitos scorers were Mike Richard 2+0, Matt Porter 1+0, Scott Fenwick 0+2 and single helpers to Jamie Bishop, Cody Millett, Sam Maguire and Andrew Dolan. Stephen Miller picked up the win Sunday stopping 34 of 37 shots.
