Islanders Winning Streak Ends

The Islanders 3 Game Winning streak ended at home Sunday when they were defeated 2 - 0 by the Moncton Flyers. Flyers forward Ben Tucker tipped a Jordan Murray point shot at 9:25 of the second period while on the powerplay to score the first goal of the game with Brett McNeill also picking up an assist. The score remained at one until Gino Goguen assisted by Joslin Gallant scored the insurance marker into an empty net at 18:48 of the third period. Flyers goalie Scott Cale made 15 saves to pick up the win while Stephen Miller suffered the loss while stopping 30 of the 31 shots he faced.
